Long Time no Blog.......

Its been forever since i posted anything...its been crazy busy!!! First off I'm super excited about Christmas, I love this time of year! I am one of those who goes all out with the decorations....we've got two trees, lights on the house, all that jazz!!!

Ok since i wrote last so much has happened, I'll try to hit the high points... First off Payton was saved and Baptized! I am soo proud of him, he is such a good and faithful servant. He was so proud and told everyone he could! We had a huge turn out for his Baptism!!

Then there was Thanksgiving....at my house!!! I loved it!!! It was just a small fraction of my family there but it was wonderful!! Shane helped me cook, Tatum helped me decorate the tables. Payton had to write a paragraph in school about what he was thankful for this is what is said, word for word.......

That came from MY 10 year old little boy...I'll tell ya i doesn't get much better then that!

On December 4th my brother Jake and his wife Emily welcomed a beautiful Healthy Baby Boy....Justin Cord Beaird, 7lbs 110zs He is perfect!! My Big Brother was so proud, he is such a

good daddy!

Things are WONDERFUL for The Burrows 5!!! We are so Blessed and everyday i can't believe how lucky I am! We are just getting ready for Christmas, so many places to go and family to see, i can't wait!!! I'll try to be back before Christmas BUT if i don't....MERRY CHRISTMAS! Remember what and whom your celebrating! Thank you God for giving us the greatest gift of all!

Good Time In Texas!!!!!

Goooo HOGS! We had a great weekend!!! We left Friday morning after getting all 3 kiddo's in their correct location!! GB ( Shane's mom) came up and after Payton and Tatum got out of school, took them home with her.

We got to Dallas just in time for an hour worth of traffic!yuck! Shannon and Don arrived about the same time as us. We set around the hotel till more of our friends got in, then we all went to Salt grass Steakhouse for dinner..Marc, Leslie, Shannon, Don, Ryan, Alyson, Wayne, Jeff & us.

After dinner, Marc & Leslie went back to the room but the rest of us went to "Cowboys"( a huge honky tonk/bar) it was so much fun, Meredith, Mandy and Karen met us there!! Saturday we got to the Stadium as soon as gates opened, he had gotten a tailgating pass...we had the ultimate spot!!! it was as close as you could get to the stadium and still tailgate! The men grilled ! ( and did a wonderful job i might add) luckily we had two tents so the rain did not keep us from tailgating!!! about 2 hours till game time we went up and drooled over the stadium with everyone else! it is amazing! We had great seats, even thou they were RIGHT BESIDE the Aggie Students!!! BUT after the first quarter they weren't quite so annoying! :-)

We got back home around 4:00 Sunday...i was ready to see my babies! and i think they missed us as well!

Payton made the quiz bowl team, he had practice yesterday, other then that its been as quiet as you can get with 3 little ones!!!

OH FANTASY FOOTBALL~!

I beat Heather and Rodney last week!

and Last night i beat Uncle Dennis!! so I'm kicking booty!!! GO POWDER PUFFS!

What a crazy but wonderful week it has been for The Burrows Family!!

Payton Skyler turned 10 on Tuesday (the 22nd), crazy isn't it!! He is such a wonderful little man and i am SO proud to be his mommy, i couldn't have hand picked a sweeter, more kind, or smarter child! We went to the Faulkner Co Fair & parade, we got to hang out with Aunt Penni , Uncle Ryan and Bella! They rode rides and ate corn dogs until all three were sleepy!

Thursday, Tatum had her first ever field trip! Grey and myself went along, we toured the barns and got to see all the animals! Grey was most impressed by the rabbits!!! Tatum's class made t-shirts to wear, they are The Little Einsteins! There were so many little people running around so i made her stay right with me, she was a good sport!!

Friday night was Payton's birthday party!!! We grilled burgers, had a party/bunkin party!! Lots of family and friends showed up to celebrate, ya see Payton was the 1st on both sides! So..he is kinda special!!!!!!!!! We had 6 boys spend the night!!! It was wild!

Ed's Bakery did his cake, i loved it!!!

On Saturday, I got to take Tatum to the Taylor Swift concert...this is the Super Bowl to her! She is Taylor's biggest fan and to watch her little 4 year old self singing every word to every song is a sight to see!!Tatum had some posters of Taylor that didn't make it through the storm...she was very heartbroke over them, and when we lived in the "rent" house for 4 months the only way we could get her to sleep was listening to her new Taylor Swift CD....so in our house, Miss Swift is a VIP!!!!! There were 8 of us, Mom, Heather, Alexis, Krissy, Katelyn and Ashley went too! Taylor Swift is a wonderful young women who is SO talented, having seen her in action now i believe that even more! It was amazing and Tatum had the time of her life!!!!!That night will go down in my book of life as one of my favorites, to get to watch Tatum enjoy every single minute was amazing!

Just little Fantasy Football update......

the first week my father in law beat me!!

Second week i beat Shane!!!!!!!!

Third week (this week) we will see tonight but its looking good!!!

Speaking of Football~~~ Friday we leave for Dallas, we are going to the ARKANSAS VS TEXAS A&M game we are sooo excited! GO HOGS!!!!

Before I was a Mom I made and ate hot meals.I had unstained clothing.I had quiet conversations on the phone.
Before I was a Mom, I slept as late as I wantedAnd never worried about how late I got into bed. I brushed my hair and my teeth everyday.
Before I was Mom I cleaned my house each day.I never tripped over toys or forgot words of lullabies.
Before I was a Mom I didn't worry whether or not my plants were poisonous.I never thought about immunizations.
Before I was a Mom I had never been puked on Pooped on Spit on Chewed on Peed on Or pinched by tiny fingers
Before I was a Mom I had complete control of: My thoughts My body And my mind. I slept all night.
Before I was a Mom I never held down a screaming child So that doctors could do tests Or give shots.I never looked into teary eyes and cried. I never got gloriously happy over a simple grin. I never sat up late hours at night watching a baby sleep.
Before I was a Mom I never held a sleeping baby just because I didn't want to put it down.I never felt my heart break into a million pieces When I couldn't stop the hurt. I never knew that something so small Could affect my life so much.I never knew that I could love someone so much.I never knew I would love being a Mom.
Before I was a Mom I didn't know the feeling of having my heart outside my body.I didn't know how special it could feel to feed a hungry baby.I didn't know that bond between a Mother and her child.I didn't know that something so small Could make me feel so important.
Before I was a Mom I had never gotten up in the middle of the night every 10 minutes to make sure all was okay I had never known the warmth The joy The love The heartache The wonder Or the satisfaction of being a Mom.
I didn't know I was capable of feeling so much before I was a Mom.

Labor Day Weekend!

Gotta Love a Long Weekend!!!

I hate that its over but we had a nice relaxing weekend at home, Saturday Night we had a few friends over and watched the game GO HOGS! Great way to start the season! Sunday we got up and made it to Sunday school ( i promised myself that we are gonna make it to Sunday School every Sunday) then i had to work in the nursery. Sunday night we had Fantasy Football Draft at our house. Shane won his FF league at work last year so he is obsessed with it this year, in addition to the one at this work he wanted to have a league among his friends and family so..... there are 10 of us with teams, yes i have my own, and NO i have no idea what I'm doing but i thought I'd give it a try!!! My teams name is the Powder Puffs! Here is my Logo! I think it will be fun, my first match up starts next week against my Father in Law! Yesterday Shane had to go into work for a few hours, Payton went to his buddy Gaige's house (April's little boy) and me and the other two just hung out at home. GB (Shane's mom) spent the night with us last night b/c she had to take Ma to the Dr this morning. That brings us to this morning....Tuesday but it feels like Monday! Business as usual here!
